Murdoch’s News Corp is a major contributor to the consolidation going on in the news business. Something that is damaging real journalism. And his advice is to shorten stories?
Where have I heard that before? Oh yeah, the marketing department that demanded we squeeze the news hole to give them more space for ads. Dumb down the news. Don’t do stories on peace in the middle east. Do stories about peach pie recipes in Des Moines!
